Settlement Funds
I am sending in my application for PR soon under Fed Skilled Workers.
My question is about Settlement funds. For 2 people the new requirement is CAD $12372. I have USD$10000 in a time deposit but the dollar keeps getting lower and lower every day. Should this time deposit of ten thousand us dollars be enough or should I add to it?

If you want to sell US dollars in Canada today you will get only about CAD 11.5K and some change for US$ 10K. You better show at least US$ 11K on the account.
