I have some doubts about my self-assessment score. Since I come from Yugoslavia,
our educational and labour-market system was such that it allowed full-time
studying and permanent work, at the same time! That was exactly the case with me -
I have my university degree (Teacher of English Language and Literature), one-year
specialization in Journalism and Media , but at the same time I have 9 years of
permanent work as a Consultant for Public Relations and Communications. I got that
job with my secondary school diploma. My question is: can I get 15 points for my
University degree, and still calculate points for ETF and Occupational factor from
my current job, since I didn't work for 1 year as a teacher of English, as a
foreign language?

Thank you very much, in advance

You will get full points for your degree regardless if it was full or part time

You will also get your ETF and occupational points based on your occupation. I would
write a detailed explanation of your education and work history and the overlaps in
tose two fields

Good Luck

You would be eligible for 15 points for your degree as long as it is, or is
equivalent to, a first level university degree.

The ETF score would depend on the intended occupation selected, the consistency of
your prior duties and your education/training with the NOC requirements of that
occupation, and the completion of a minimum of one year of experience in that
position following the completion of the education/training requirements for such.
