Talking RPRF deposit - UK bank?

Hi all

I've landed and am now living back in the UK for a couple of years. I applied for a refund of half my RPRF and used my cousin's address in Toronto.

She's forwarded the cheque to me and I now have to deposit it.

a) How long do I have to deposit it? Six months?
b) Which banks can people recommend in terms of low/no fees for banking CAD cheques?

TIA

Suze

Living back in the UK for a couple of years? Be careful you don't fall afoul of the 3 years in five rule. If you're back in the UK for more than 2 years you'll lose your PR.

I believe you only need to be in Canada for two years out of five.

Thanks, I'm fully aware of my obligations as a PR.

Any ideas re the bank?
