Revenues Canada(Does Anybody Knows)
Hi,
I've been living in Canada for the last 5 months and I've worked for 3
employers in 2003. Last week i got Canada's Customs and Revenue Agency
Forms from all the employers i worked for.
As i m new here, i don't exactly know what is the purpose of these
forms so it be of great help if somebody here cud help me in figuring
out what is the purpose of these forms..
I guess these forms and the amount on these forms is for the taxes.
But i m not sure and dont know what to do with those forms.

I took mine to HR Block and they did all the details,

Imho. Hr block is ok but I don't think they go out of their way to make sure
you get back ALL that may be due to you.

That would most likely be your 'T4', your statement of earnings for tax
purposes. I remember when I first got one from a Canadian employer. It was
pink. I've heard of the 'pink slip' being a termination notice and,
well...I put 2 and 2 together to come up with 5. I thought I was fired.
:-)
Anyways, when you fill out your tax return, it'll tell you where to get
the information from. Of course, if you use an accountant or tax service,
they'll know automatically.
