Hi, i have another question : There are a lot of books on the market telling you how
to immigrate to the USA, they tell you also how to build up your resume for looking
for a job. But i haven't found any literature about this subject for Canada? Do
Canadian resumes differ from american resumes, or can you say that they are based on
the same standards?

Best regards and thanks in advance, Matt

Resumes or Bios are as varied as their authors. They should be designed to bu easy to
understand, interesting and a fair portrait of the person and his or her
accomplishments, interests and experience. There are a lot of different models but
the goals are as above. Word and Word Perfect have several styles in their programs.

As a general rule, the styles of writing resumes in the USA and Canada are the same.
Of course, there is no one style for doing so. One possible source for guidance is:

I have used the same format (chronological) since 1991 - successfully - in Asia and
North America.

Following are just a couple of links (Canadian) on resumes:

http://www.workopolis.com/content/re...sor/index.html

http://www.canadiancareers.com/resandcl.html

For a very large number of links to resume writing (Canadian), simply search for
"resume writing" at www.lycos.ca, making sure to check mark "CANADIAN SITES".
