I sent an email inquiry to Buffalo regarding my case. This is their reply:

"Your application for permanent residence will be reviewed for finalization early 2006."

I know this is a template response but could someone please tell me if this an indication of approval of my application? Has anyone else gotten this response from them?

I couldn't find any concreate reasons to tell you if your application has been approved or not.

So I deleted my previous reply.

Sorry - it is not any indication of anything beyond what it says. When did you apply? Did you get IA letter and if yes then when? Did you do medicals?

I applied in May 2004. Received interview waiver in January 2005. Did medicals in Feb 2005 and submitted add'l docs in March 2005.

It means your security check has been initiated after docs were received in March and may take anywhere from several months to well over a year to conclude. Nothing anyone can do to speed it up, sorry.
