reliabilty of rules (?)
i have posted before that even it is a rule that an applicant on a
visitor's visa has to exit before being granted a working permit (
assuming interview is needed), i still found out that you can change a
visitor's visa into a working permit if you have enough $$ and a good
lawyer.
I was told that a lawyer in BC had asked for Can5k and was able to do
just that. That person has a working permit now...hmmmmm...
I was in BC on a visitor's visa and was asked to exit to get a working
permit..someone I consulted didnt even mention the aforementioned
possibilty. nevertheless, thats a heck of an amount..I just wonder if
its legal though.
btw, theres always an interview for such status change, right?

Does the expression BS come to mind, 5K sounds like a pretty good racket.
