Refugee approved, questions for P.R. process.
i had my case for conv. ref. approved in toronto.
when do i apply for a diff sin ? not the one that starts w 9 ?
or do i have to wait for my app for p.r. to go thru first?
if so, could any1 please tell me how it works ?
i got app at home and am filling it out, they said there is a
background check.
how does it work ? i have gotten a mischief ticket in the states b4.
also my credit (in the states i owe $ on cc) is not good. does it
affect my p.r. app ? also do i need to take a medical exam ? i d taken
one 3 yrs ago when entered Canada, do i need to take 1 again ?

You have to wait until PR is granted and then you can apply for new SIN

Yes, you wil probably need new medical.

it was a municipal ticket for Minor in Consumption of alcohol (not a
criminal record mischief)

It was not an offence, just a ticket issued.
How would I know if I need to take a medical ? Will I be notified of a
certain date to take it on ?
