Recommendation Please
Hi All
have been lurking around this site for a while.
My Wife and I were just about to sign our contract of relocation with the infamous Visa Plus relocations, then suddenly, i had a nagging doubt in the back of my mind. A quick search on Google confirmed my fears and now the aforementioned contract has been put through my shredder!!!
Can anybody out there recommend a reputable, registered company that won't bankrupt us or take us for a ride?
We are early Thirties, I am an IT manager, Wife is a Retail Manager, 1 kid (11) & a dog wanting to go from UK to Canada, (preferably Alberta).

Relocation or moving companies are needed only to help you physically move your posessions. What you need is to get your PR visa first and for this task you have 2 options - (1) do it yourself route (DIY) if you are a gambler, prefer lack of piece of mind just to save few ducats, can't afford to hire expert or you are expert in Canadian immigration yourself and (2) hire an authorized immigration practitioner in Canada to assist you in PR application process.
Remember that companies who offer service in applying for immigration visas to more than one country are not experts in any. At best they are just a middleman between you and an authorized immigration practitioner in your destination country.
If Canada is your favorite then look here to see what Canadian immigration law says first:

and in easier to digest language here:

Re: Recommendation Please
Why wait? Why not start now and contact authorized immigration practitioner in Canada for at least free evaluation?
