re-entering Canada after landing
Here is brief of our situation:
My husband (main applicant) is planning to land first in Vancouver from our home country while I am still working/living in Boston. He plans to apply a B-2 visa at US Consulate as soon as he lands in Canada rather than 1-2 weeks of wait from our home country. If he is able to get a US visitor visa, he will return to Boston and help me to move. We'll then drive across countries with our belongings and our car to Vancouver. Here are my questions:
1. Our lawyer told us is impossible to get a US visitor visa right after he lands the Canada. Is that truth? They told us to wait for 3-6 months before traveling back to the US.
2. He will find an apartment and leave Vancouver to Boston right after he gets the visa. We'll drive back to Vancouver before he receives his PR card. Is that a problem for him to re-enter Canada after he lands just weeks ago and is without PR card?
Thanks for all advice in advance

Yes he will have a lot of trouble getting a US visa just after arriving in Canada. They are weary of people coming to Canada with the main intention of going to the US. He should wait. He could also apply in his home country.
