Default Questions about Citizenship after immigration

I have a few questions about immigration and would be grateful if someone can answer

1. Do I have to stay 3 years out of 4 years or 3 years out of 5 years to apply for citizenship?

2. If I am working for a private company in Canada and if I have to travel to other countries on work will those days which I am out of the country be counted as days which are eligible to meet the citizenship criteria?

3. After applying for citizenship (providing I meet the 3 years requirement) do I have to stay in Canada or can I travel out?

1. 3 out 4 on the date you sign the application.
2. No, maybe for Permanent Resident (if the company is Canadian) but not for citizenship which require physical presence.
3. You can travel, but you would have to return at least twice on short notice.

These questions seem to have been asked and answered in your previous thread on the same subject - http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=748431

Please keep any further questions about residency obligations or citizenship eligibility in your original thread, thanks.
