I am in Quebec, sponsoring my wife in China. H.K VISA office sent her a
letter on Dec 18, 2003. Instead of sending to her mailing address (Post
office P.O box) they send to her residential address (she can't receive
letters reliable from that address). She never receive it. On Jan 28, 2004 I
fax a letter to H.K VISA office, telling them we didn't get the letter and
ask for a re-send (give them the mailing address again). Then I fax again
on Jan 29 when I found out my wife's B file #..and found out they use her
residential address as her mailing address (it show on e-Client status),
tell H.K VISA office the mailing address need to be update to correct one
(as fill in form IMM008) and told them my wife residential address can't
receive letter (because not reliable).

Then I receive a letter from H.K VISA on Jan 30 (Friday. They send it on Jan
26)..Inside it said the attached checklist was send to my wife on Dec 18,
2003. So it look like they sending the same letter they send to my wife to
me (maybe they didn't receive the reply in 1 month, or the letter was
return). The check list on followings:

- Application for Permanent Residence in Canada (IMM008). It have a remark
say our mailing address which is Post Office
Box number is NOT acceptable
- Supplementary Spousal/Common-law questionnaire
- Engagement from your sponsor in Canada, please have your sponsor contact
MRCI in Montreal for further information.

Question: They have give me a form IMM0008 (Application for P.R in Canada)
which is blank accept have a sticker with B file # on it..Do I just have to
fill in the new mailing address (Q.14) only?? Can I put my address in Canada
instead for mailing address? So all the letters send from VISA office go to
me first?

Question: What kind of paper do u think they require from MRCI? Since I
submit my Quebec selection on Jan 16 and still didn't hear anything yet
(Quebec didn't take out the $250 from my VISA either).

Question: After I fill out the Supplementary, signed and send to my wife for
signature..which date should I put? The one I sign in Canada or the last
signature in China? After that what address my wife should put when return
the document back to H.K VISA office?? Can she put the residential address
on even I already tell H.K Visa office her address can't receive letter??
