Question For Andrew: Work Visas and continuous employment
Hi Andrew [or anyone else who might have the answer]
I have a couple of quick questions. I am just finishing my one year of continuous employment required for permanent residency, HOWEVER I have been offered a job at another company - the position would start two weeks before I reach the one year mark. If I do not skip a single day and go from one job to another [with mildly different titles but completely separate employers = broadcast media coordinator versus distribution coordinator] does this count as continual employment? Or would it mean that I do not qualify for one years continuous employment [even though I would still have one year of continual employment but just not with the same company]
Also. The position I am going for would want to sponsor me with a twp while I wait for my pr to come through. Would it count in my favour that they would like me to go back and forth to england to work once in a while? I am not a senior employer so my new employer would like to try to use as many angles as possible to secure the position.
All / any help is as ever appreciated.
Hope your weather is better than Toronto's today!
thanks!

Re: Question For Andrew: Work Visas and continuous employment
If you move from one employer to another and do it without taking any break then you will be continuously employed.

Thanks Andrew
I know these things can be tricky so I want to get it right! I get scared that I will goof up and be back to square one!
