Default Question about working for a company in another country

I'm not sure where exactly to post this.

I'm a British citizen living in Canada as a Canadian resident (landed immigrant status). I'm currently job searching and I have a potential job, which is with a company in England. If I got the job, I would be working from home here in Canada. I could work either as a full-time employee of this company, or as a contractor through my own company.

If I wanted to accept the job as a full-time employee, is this possible? Are there any website that might give information on how to do this as either a full-time employee or a contractor?

Thanks
