The question about visa
I applied for Canada about 2 years ago and the status of my application is
"in-process". I also applied for HSMP (Highly Skilled Migrant Program) to
the UK.
I successfully obtained HSMP Entry Clearance visa starting at the end of
February (first step - for 1 year). I should declare the UK as my future
home whilst applying for HSMP. Suddenly I received the letter from Canadian
Embassy with request to pay PR fee (RPRF) and to submit my (and dependants)
passports for further processing. And now I am worrying: I have HSMP visa
stamped in my passport and I must submit my passport to Canadian Embassy.
Should I provide some letter of explanation about my HSMP visa? Can this
HSMP visa interfere with receiving the Canadian PR visa?
Any advices, please.

Re: The question about visa
A covering letter could explain why you applied for the HSMP visa and that
you do not intend to use it if your application for Canada is successful.
