Hi all,

this question is on behalf of a friend from Romania. She has lived in canada as a student for over 10 years. Very bright and highly qualified. Currently working on a Work Permit in Finance sector.

She received a letter from BUFFALO saying interview is necessary but for Quality Assurance. I have two questions:

1: What is Quality Assurance?

2: People like me, who already received Passport Request Letters (saying processing is now complete) and mailed passport to Buffalo for PR visas.. can we still be called for Quality Assurance interviews????

Not sure what to tell her.

The visa offices carry out some interviews solely to check the quality of their present system whereby many interviews are waived.

That would be very unlikely.
