public order offence
It was 1995 when i was done for a public order offence.It was £40 court costs and bound over for twevle mths.That was my first and only offence.I have put my papers into the canadian immigration for immigration to canada.Will this restrict my immigration chances. Will the canadian immigration listen to my story.It was a minnor offence and a long time ago.Can anyone help.

Depends on what it was and if you disclosed it, along with your age at
the time. It could go either way, either being essentially irrelevant or
being held against you. Sorry.

Yes, it could impinge on your application to the point of refusal, depending
upon the exact circumstances and offence.

hi jim,the public order offence was for fighting and it was a long time ago.it was my first and only offence,would they really reject my claim or hear my side of the story as i was helping my sister at the time.it does not state what the public order offence was for just a public order offence.can you help.
