Default Provincial nominee program (Manitoba) - 6mths with employer or 6 months in Manitoba

Hope someone can help me as i'm getting tied up in knots with the wording of this.
We are currently living in Manitoba on TWP, since July. Husband is being sponsored by his employer (a multinational company, who has an office within Manitoba, whom he has been permanently employed by for 18years both in the UK and Australia) to apply for PR via PNP here.

The question I have is about having to have worked full-time for 6 months with a Manitoba employer - is this 6 months with him specifically based within Manitoba (in which case we need to wait a bit til we apply) or would 6mths with that employer elsewhere suffice?

Hope that makes sense...

From the Manitoba PNP website

There are two paths to Manitoba:

Currently working in Manitoba: Applications are accepted from temporary foreign workers and international student graduates who have been working full-time for at least six months and whose employer has offered a full-time, long-term job.

Skilled workers overseas: Applications are accepted from skilled workers who score sufficient points for employability and adaptability based on five factors – age, English proficiency, work experience, education and Connection to Manitoba.

Thanks Former Lancastrian, that's the bit I was querying though - the wording implies that he could have worked for the employer elsewhere but as long as that was for 6+mths and we are in Manitoba when applying we wouldn't need to wait til next year to apply?

I believe the six month stipulation is six months working for an employer IN Manitoba.
By all means have all your PNP docs prepared to get them in the post on the relevant day.
Good luck .
