Processing time of viza issuing
Hi, all
How long does it take to get passport back with viza from CHC? On the passport request letter said it would take within 15 days, but mine already passed 2 weeks though.

Hi Jim, I have been on a (sixth week so far) long wait since I sent my passport and PCC as requested in the letter, but not response from the CHC(New Delhi) yet. Thought I will be in Canada with my wife on our first wedding anniversary on 31st Oct i.e., tomorrow. Sent email to the CHC last week asking about the status, but no reply 
Can you please suggest me on my situation...

In spousal cases CHC New Delhi quite often requests passport months before completing the process.

It took 2 weeks to get it. I shouldn't have been worried that much
