Does anyone know how long it takes to sponsor spouse who is living in London, UK?

not sure. im in the UK and my wife is about to sponsor me from Canada, and i think
from reading, the website says about 6-8 months, but they try their best to do spouse
ones as quickly as possible. so it depends i gues show busy they are, and how complex
the case is. if theres like lots of background to check from living in other
countries etc i think that lengthens it, but if like me, its just a straight forward
UK citizen by birth who has never lived anywhere else, i dont think its too
complicated. just medicals to send in and a police reoprt with forms on my behalf and
a simple security check for them. i have read a couple of peopel getting a visa in 4
months from london CHC but i tihnk that may have been a lucky thing.

The last London sponsorship I did for a cleint took just under six months and
everything was transmitted by regular mail not courier services. Getting the
application and supporting documents right the first time is important.

Hi Jim,

Could I ask how was that time broken down roughly? Most particularly, how long was
the timeframe from receiving sponsorship approval from Mississauga to receiving an
interview waiver+medical forms from CHC London.

I presume is was about 4 months?

Hi Jim, thanks for the response. Does the 6 month time frame include receiving
sponsorship approval from Mississauga? How long did it take to get the sponsorship
approval from Mississauga?
