Pregant and medicals - urgent
We got our medicals and interview waiver . Also my wife if pregnant. Does that delay things for us as we cannot have medicals done till then. What should we do, get the medicals doen rigth now without X-ray for my wife or wait for the delivery. Will we come under the new law if we delay the medicals beyond March 2003

I guess you can go ahead with both(wife & husband) of your medicals, and you can do the X-Ray part after the delivery.
Did you get your medical test appointment ? If not,
try to get one.
Hope this info helps you.
All the best.

If your wife is pregnant, and if her doctor advises against taling the Xray,
then you should notify the visa office of your situation. You would have to
await the birth of the baby, then advise the visa office and pay a further
processing fee etc. Obviously there would be delays just for that. I would
not take an part of the medicals now as the delay might make it necessary to
repeat them later.

Hi Sudesh,
And you might be aware every case is unique in its own way.
CIC will be doing its security check which might take sometime. And also by the time CIC receives medical
results it will take some time.
So your process is not exactly delayed.
And also since you are already been interview waived, means
you will be under the old point grid.
Also you have to inform the CIC about the Name
and other relevant information of the "new born baby"
without any delay.
Hope this info helps you.
