PR Card
Not sure if it should be here or in immigration, so forgive me if its in the wrong spot.
Anyone renew a PR card recently? According to CIC website my renewal was approved 3 weeks ago, but no card yet, just curious is anyone knows how long it generally takes to get either a card, or a letter to pick up a card, or some sort of communication from CIC once approved?
I am going to be moving soon, and kind of worried it wont come before I move. (4 weeks.)

When did you apply? The current processing times are 114 days, they are processing applications received up to April 26th at the moment.

If you are able to, perhaps you could do a redirect of mail to either your new address or a friends?

They received it April 18th, started processing it May 28th.
On July 9th my status changed to complete.
We received your application for a permanent resident card on April 18, 2013.
We started processing your application on May 28, 2013.
Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on July 9, 2013, and will be issued shortly.
I am just trying to figure out if there is any sort of time frame to receiving the card, I called CIC and got the same answer, I have been approved and a card will be issued.
On July 9th my status changed to complete.

I would think you should get it soon - you could try calling them and tell them you are moving in 4 weeks and could they please allow you to collect it instead if they don't think it will be delivered in time.
