PR Card
My husband landed at Pearson May 7th, and has not received his PR card yet. Is he suppose to contact someone to get it, or does it just arrive in the mail. No one in immigration told him that he had to request it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: PR Card
I believe it should come automatically, but can take more than six weeks. There's a web page listing expected processing times.

Current quoted time is 47 business days not inc weekends and holidays.
Note: If you live inside Canada and if it has been longer than the time shown above since you applied, please contact the Call Centre. Call Centre agents cannot speed up the process of your application or make decisions on your case.
*The processing time to receive the new PR card is shown in business days. This means it does not include weekends or holidays.

Re: PR Card
As a yardstick if you like, we're at 44 business days and counting and haven't received our cards yet. They called at about 5 days to double check the address (BSO had mixed up the numbers of our apartment and street address..), so I know it's underway.
