PR Application disclosing Criminal records!
I currently live and work in Canada on temporary work permit, with my wife and 3 kids.
I need some advice please.
We are applying for PR through the CEC path, as part of this I have to provide a UK police check.
On the UK police check form I have to fill in, and send to the UK it says:
Have you ever been arrested or convicted of a criminal crime in England Wales Scotland or Northern Ireland?
My wife was arrested and convicted for drink driving in 1987 some 26 years ago, with a 1 year ban and a small fine.
Should I put this down on the form? ( I already have but have not yet submitted it)
Surely the police will have this on record, but I believe that they only keeps records of this nature on file for 11 years in the UK?
I am not trying to hide anything, but I don`t want to jeopardize my CEC application.
I am thinking Honesty is the best Policy.
Any advice on this subject would be fantastic.
If you can offer me any other general advice on CEC that would also be gratefully appreciated
Have a great day

Re: PR Application disclosing Criminal records!
You must disclose this offence no ifs ands or buts.
If this is the only offence and she completed the sentence in full then she will be deemed rehabilitated.
Failure to disclose the offence is MISREPRESENTATION and a PR application could be denied.
Just disclose and everything will be fine.
