Possible mistake on my application form
I was just re-reading my copy of my application form (yes, that is how I spend my Saturday afternoons) and I think that I might have inadvertantly misinterpreted one of the questions. On IMM 0008 (04-2008) E Schedule 1 Question 9, to the question, have I "previously sought refugee status in Canada or applied for a Canadian immigrant or permanent resident visa or visitor or temporary resident visa", I answered "No". To the best of my understanding of this question, that was the correct answer.
In the summers of 1988 and 1992 and while I was still at university I was issued with a BUNAC student work permit which I used to travel around Canada. I took these permits as not falling into any of the categories mentioned in the question as they weren't visitor or resident visas, so I answered no. However, with hindsight, I am wondering if my interpretation of the question was correct.
On my application I did state that I briefly worked at the CN Tower on the BUNAC permit in July 1988, so it was mentioned on the form.
I have just emailed the CHC to ask for clarification and stating everything that I've mentioned above, but is this likely to cause me a serious problem? If I have made a mistake, and I'm still not sure if I have misread the question or not, it certainly wasn't a deliberate one. I hate to think that I might have ruined everything.
If this was likely to be a problem, wouldn't they have come back to me before now? They have had my updated documents for three months now.

Re: Possible mistake on my application form
Hi
1. You should have answered Yes, as the Bunac was a visitor record, with permission to work. No it shouldn't cause a problem, London MAY (unlikely though) come back and ask what was your status while working in Canada
