My updated statues on the cic, tell me that my medicals have been received.

My question is, should I apply for my uk police record check now.so in the hope they ask for it soon I can send it in quickly.

Does anybody know a rough time scale from medicals being received and police check request,

PEI PNP skilled worker route.

P.s thinking now I should have just sent it in with the application, but I did not want it to expire.

Did you not submit one in your original application? It cannot hurt to get one now if so much time has passed since then either.

Hi Jim,

I did not submit one at the time.i had a couple of people tell me that they require it to the most recent check,and that it has a 1 year expire date.

So I thought I would hold out until they ask for it.Now I am worrying that it is really going to hold up my application.

Do you know any relevant timelines from medical received to police request?

I think I did both about the same time (2008) as they both have a one year exspiry date.

There is no foreseeable time - it can be a few weeks or months. Actually, they should have asked for them at the same time.

Thanks guys.When I came over in 2010 n my work permit, I had to get a place check then.and I have not left since.wonder if this could be the reason?

Regardless I think I may just get it now and send it in before they even ask for it.

Hi the police checks are coming in really quickly we got ours in 2 weeks so it should not hold anything up too long also my friend got medicals done at New Year and got PR last week but they already had her police checks, hope this makes sense.
