Hi,

I am an Indian resident working in the IT industry and want to apply for PR in Canada
in the NEW DELHI Visa Post. Also, I was working in Canada for the last
1.5 years. What I would like to know is:

2. Is it necessary to include the Police Clearence Certificates at the time of PR
application or can it be postponed to a later time? Police Clearence does figure
in the Document Checklist for the New Delhi Visa Office.

3. What's the process to obtain the Police Clearence from Canada and India if I'm now
resident in India?

Thanks a lot

Hi:

You can provide your police clearance certificates later on during the process.

You will have to obtain fingerprint cards, and then mail them in to the RCMP:

Identification Services Directorate, Civil Section
P.O. Box 8885 Ottawa, Ontario Canada K1G 3M8
