Police clearance

Hello, everyone!
I am wondering someone can help with this question:
I am looking into immigrating to Canada with my family. Currently, I live in US. I
have been living in US since 1984 (I was 14 then), which is about 17 years ago --
will I still need police clearance from both my native country and US?
Peter

You need police certificates from all countries you lived in for 6 or more months
since your 18th birthday, so there is no need for such clearance from your native
country if you haven't lived there after you turned 18.
