Default police checks lost

I emailed CIC yesterday asking when we would hear re visa etc, as they had our medicals on July 12th. The reply today was that they cant issue the visa until updated police checks have been received. We sent these along with RCMP ones with the updated info requested in the 90 day letter! Pah, humbug.

I have emailed back..............

They lost my OH's ones too. She's applied for a new set. It's all a bit of a bother because several states required sworn applications and that means dragging back to the notary public. Since the last set took over a year to collect it also means renewing her work permit. Still, what can you do? If you have to deal with the government you have to accept these things.
