POINTS FOR EDUCATION
Hello, experts. Question from my frinds - a family in the former USSR:
Husband: 10 years at school + 5 years at the university (equivalent to the Bachelor
Degree). How many points for education? Wife: 10 years of school + 3 years of
professional education (non-university trade educational instiution) + 3 various
professional upgrade courses (up to 1 year in duration). How many points?
THANX in advance.

Re: POINTS FOR EDUCATION
If husband is the principal applicant then he gets 20 points for his education and 3
points for wife's education.
If wife would be a principal applicant then she gets 15 points for her education and
4 points for husband's education.

Re: POINTS FOR EDUCATION
Thank you, Andrew. But could you explain what is more important: number of years of
education or level of education (degree)? Here is what I mean to ask: is 15 years and
a bachelor degree not enough to get 22 points because there should be 2 degrees? How
can a p[erson have 2 degrees with 15 years of education?

Re: POINTS FOR EDUCATION
Both requirements must be met or exceeded and both are equally important.
