Point system and validated job offer
When looking at the points system for skilled workers requesting a
permanent status visa I noticed that points will be awarded to
individuals who have a validated job offer from a Canadian employer,
this may give some applicants just enough points to qualify.
The application forms are then sent to be processed and the points
for the set criteria are added up. It can take from 12-24 months for
a visa to be granted. How can an offer of employment be any use after
this time? Does this only apply if the employer is prepared to wait
this length of time?

Re: Point system and validated job offer
Yes, this only applies (extra points) if the applicant waits overseas for
processing of his PR case. No one has successfully explained why this is
so.
