although when I applied for the extension I didnt actually have my PNP request in or file number

I did send a copy of my CI letter of support and told them my application was on the way to Haliafax

I havent got a return ticket i had a 2 week return when I came into Canada back in April
Husband had to nip back to the UK for a couple of weeks and when he came back in he had absolutly no problem whatosoever

They aksed who he was visiting and he siad hsi wife so I think they must have thought I was Canadian!!

if i dont get my extension i shall be off to Boston for a shopathon weekend and then back in

fingers crossed this wont happen but I will never ever return to the UK no matter what happens

cant even contemplate any problems eekkk

huge luck to you and yours I will see if i can track the threads re extensions as it gives us hope

if you have sent your application and have proof that they got it (tracking number), i wouldn't worry too much about aor not showing up (oh, i know, it's easy for me to say that, but been there, done that...)

downside is that you can't really update them in a efficient manner, or communicate with them properly for that matter , if you don't have a file number.

good luck!
Hi lof, thanks for the info, I do have confirmation that they received the application, will just have to wait and see I guess

After four months of waiting, I finally received my SINP - Skilled Worker approval today. Details below:

1) Provincial office where applied: Regina, SK
2) Date when application was POSTED: Tuesday June 24th, 2008
3) Date when they received the application: Wednesday June 25th, 2008
4) Any correspondence or calls received by your employer in between, if yes then the nature of the enquiry and after how many days/weeks did you get an enquiry from them? No. I did send an update on the Assessment rating of SINP which I made a mistake on previous application. Received on July 12th, 2008
5) Date when decision made or received? October 24th, 2008. Received package on October 30th, 2008
6) Employee is inside or outside Canada when the Application was submitted? Inside Canada
7) If inside Canada, what currently doing? Study Permit/Working part-time under off-campus work permit.
8) How long after initial application or PNP decision / when was PR granted? Still waiting........

Hope everyone will receive their approval soon.
