You should hear back from the BC Government in about 2 months. Once you have the confirmation from the BC Government you can apply to CIC for permanent residence. I believe they are taking about a year. However, once you have the BC Government letter you can use this to get a temporary work permit at your point of entry to Canada.

Currently in the process in Saskatchewan.
SK PNP nomination took less than a month.
Sent PR application in to Buffalo (Sept 2010), 6 months later got acknowledgement of receipt and Med request (March 2011). Three months on, notified that my file is transferred to Detroit and I now cannot access online stats for at least 90 days.

Hi, BC pnp advised us 16-18w as well, I think they keep the processing times relatively up to date, remember that the visa cycle opens on July 1. So they have a finite number they will agree to and once that is reached the applications get put on hold. So if everyone is rushing to get in now it's a new visa year, wait times might be longer. Good luck, and I hope we wont be far behind you!

It's getting longer! When I applied for a potential employee three years ago it took the BC PNP people two months. It seems as though they are catching CIC disease.

Hi
The visa cycle is Jan to Dec, for all applications except FSW1
