Default PNP in Alberta

I've been in Alberta for 2 months now working as a full time truck driver and just wanted to know how long we have to wait before we can apply for permanent residency as we are wanting to stay here in Canada. I've come over on a 1 years work visa approved by an LMO. Any information would be appreciated on when we can start the application.
Many thanks

speak to the company you work for and investigate the AINP route. I hear that some employers want you to work for them a minimum of 6 months before this.

I am sure that someone else will be a long soon to give more advice on your options.

It's not the employer wanting this, it's a requirement of the PNP - the OP must have worked as a long-haul truck driver in Alberta for at least six months before being eligible.

OP - check that you and the company meet the requirements on the Alberta PNP website (semi-skilled stream), and then start gathering the paperwork required as it'll take a while! Hopefully then your employer can apply as soon as you've worked for them for six months.

Hi
I was only stating that I had to go through my HR department who then sent the info to Alberta Health Services. I was informed by my HR that the AHS wanted the PNP application forms in order for them to assess my eligibility for them to nominate me for the AINP. I was then informed by AHS that I had been nominated and to send all of the paper work off to Buffalo.

This was the process I had to go through.
