Default PNP

Hello....I'm new to BE...could anyone tell me how long you would have to stay in a province eg. Manitoba, if you went through the pnp route, before you could move to another province? I'm asking because my husband and I really want to go to Ontario, but I have a job offer in winnipeg and they are willing to help with my PNP.

I got my PNP from NS and as far as they are concerned you can not leave the province as they nominated you on their provincial needs. After you get citizenship you are a free agent of canada.

Thanks ...that helps.....just don't know what to do, I have family and friends in Toronto and Ajax, and no one in Manitoba, so essentially no back up.

Find arranged employment in Ontario. Don't take PNP quota from someone who genuinely wants to settle in Manitoba. Don't just use employer to get through the process and then leave employer burned without worker. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Hey Andrew.......I agree, my husband and I have decided that we don't want to go to Manitoba, It's just that this is the only option I've had so far and I wanted to know what the rules are, besides I have a young daughter and would hate to have to uproot her once she is settled.

IF you get Landed Resident Status you are free to Land and go anywhere in canada - including if you get in quickly for a PNP.

But just bad form, old chap. To start new life as a weasel. but Each to there own.
