Hi everyone,

I really need some suggestions. I received 30 days letter which says to submit the documents ( Police Certificate, Educational Docs, Proof of Funds, Job Offer) this checklist came in SEP'08 when i sent AEO in AUG'08.

From that point on i havnt received any mail from CIC, is this a good news or bad. Further more i am also waiting ofr CAIPS notes which might help.

Assuming you submitted the documents on time then the likely reason for this time passage is that they are conducting the background checks. These checks may well run over a year in some cases.

Still though i have Arrange Employment they take so long. Is this a worrying sign? As my employers are asking for my immigration status. With Your experience how further will it take to decide on my background check.
