Please help!!! Not eligible for EE?

Re: Please help!!! Not eligible for EE?
I think he has emailed about it but standard response not encouraging. We're hoping that it's something to do with part of a month and that it will be recognised this month if the system updates itself??
He was still eligible for FSW with 979 points so we're just chasing the extra points. Sorry
There is another thread with people's EE profiles if it helps?

So an LMIA is only valid for 6 months - that's tight.
How long is a PNP nomination valid for?
How long is a PNP nomination valid for?

Re: Please help!!! Not eligible for EE?
As for PNP nomination it can vary. If already in Canada working you will get a work permit until you receive your COPR forms. Extensions to work permits are normally granted if processing is taking a long time.
If not working in Canada you wait until the COPR forms are issued.
Once nominated Alberta gives you 6 months to submit your application to CIC for the federal part of the application.
Check with the Province you are nominated by to see what they do.

Dumb question...are you using your LMIA from a successful TWP...i'm in two minds on this as my reading <and a recent question i asked on here> was if we could use the TWP LMIA, it states that to have a TWP and an LMIA for EE you need one for "dual intent", I'm wondering if i can use the positive LMIA from a TWP app at all, and if you have and been refused..well..

An LMIA for TWP purposes has an option expiry date (a date it must be presented to be exchanged for the permit). I know this rule so well as when my work got our renewal LMIA's they thought "they don't need them until X date when their TWP's expire, we will keep them safe" and gave them to us after the option had expired...thats why im not working right now, awaiting totally new LMIA's..the young girl at the border had SUCH a big smile when she could refuse me for being 10 days late, with a valid LMO and a no use clearance for another 2 year permit...not bitter...honest..<sarcasm>

In my case lancastrian...no they (my employers) didn't, we, me and the others are the big experiment, they had never had TWP's before, they decided to do all the paperwork in-house instead of using an agency this time (at renewal) and candidly no one realised...the smelly stuff hit the fan when i came back from the border and they realised a portion of their workforce was about to go off line.
Annoyingly owing to my location at the time i didn't go to the border post i went through bi-weekly for work and knew the staff at (it might have made a difference...who knows?), a collegue sent the same expired papers in after applying online for an extention, as i did, to keep working short term on implied status...and they granted him a new visa as no one realised it was out of date while refusing me....i was so happy for him..<even more dripping sarcasm>

Re: Please help!!! Not eligible for EE?
All the details of my application are gone. Application is gone and the button "aaply for express entry" appeared again.
Message with ineligibility letter is still there.
Seriously, if they are having such glitches with new system then it is a joke beyond belief.
I don't know what to do now, apply from a new GC key I created or reapply from this one.

Re: Please help!!!
Hi
1. To be eligible for EE you still have to meet 67 points see: Six selection factors – Federal skilled workers
2. The OP is only going to get 5 points for education, high school education, and it if CIC doesn't accept that s/he has a full time permanent job offer, then s/he will only get about 66 points.

Hi,
Is this for LMIA with EE or does this count for BC PNP and EE as well? Thanks.

Re: Please help!!!
Hi
1. The 6 selection factors only count for Skilled worker in EE
2. The selection factors for CEC under EE is here: Determine your eligibility – Canadian Experience Class
3. For PNPs provinces that are using EE once you get the nomination (worth 600 points) then you apply under EE.
