Please help: e-client and actual application status
Hello everyone,
I applied for PR to Buffalo consulate in Aug. 2002. Got my AOR in Oct. 2002.
The e-client status shows:
"We started processing your application on November 14, 2002"
I checked the Buffalo consulate's website for processing status and it says:
"We are currently assessing applications received in March 2003"
...which means that they have presumably assessed my application(?). There
has been no correspondence from Buffalo...whats taking them so long? Doing
background checks or still assessing or long queue or something else that's
part of the process? Just want to know. I did send them a fax but no
response from them yet.
Any help/information is most welcome and highly appreciated! Thank you in
advance.

Re: Please help: e-client and actual application status
I have to repeat it again - don't pay too much attention to e-client. It is
the most unreliable online service imaginable.
But fact is that Buffalo already started assessing applications received in
March and April 2003. It doesn't mean that they completed assessment of all
earlier applications - they didn't. There are cases from 2001 that haven't
been assessed yet.
And I'm sorry but I have to repeat this fact also - well prepared
application packages with all facts and info conclusively documented are
processed quite fast, while those less flawlessly prepared suffer from
delays.

Thank you Mr. Miller for the useful info. I guess I just have to wait until
they respond with something.
