please help on car insurance and other
hallo,
I am going two weeks in BC to find a house to rent. I already booked a car
with Visa. What I am going to ask to you is:
First,is it better to buy an insurance to avoid problems with crash or in
Canada BC cars are included with the fare of the company that rent the car.
What are the best insurance company to do this?
Second, I do need a temporary madical insurance, Do you know some insurance
I can rely on?

You don's say where you're coming from. I presume, however, it is
Italy. The thing you have to watch out for is that if your credit card
offers rental auto insurance, it most likely will NOT cover liability for
damage to other person's property or person. I.e. If someone sues you,
you're hooped. Some travel insurance policies will cover you for auto
liability claims.

Just get travel insurance, you should be fine.

Insurance is extra on all car rentals in BC. I'd pay the few extra $$ for it
for the peace of mind. The car rental company will ask you if you want it when
you pick up the car.
Buy your medical insurance from your travel agent.
