Default passports/kids/pictures...Mr.Miller??

Dear Mr. Miller and all,

I have been looking and trying to find this information.
The lady I spoke to told me that I could send in the police clearances
later, after applying, is that true?
I also need to know about when you are supposed to send in your passports to
be changed over.
Do you need to have your passport before you apply for PR as a spouse
Inland?
I didn't need one to get in.
When is the latest I can make this available?
Since I have never had one it looks like I will have to make a special trip
to the US Consulate in OTTAWA to get one.
I have a child I will include on the application who will be landing later,
will he need a passport and when?
Under 10 years old.
Can I please get some ideas about passports and pictures too?
Will he need to have pictures taken even though he isn't accompanying me
now?
It also says in the Guide that all custody disputes must be settled, and
mine are, but only temporarily.
We will be going back to court over it this summer. Although the first
custody order does say that the Judge gives permission for me to seek
residency here for my son.
They are not going to let me have him until I have his residency here or can
assure them he can get in to be sponsored.
It is a big fight with his father......don't want to be caught in a catch 22
of chossing between my husband and Canada or my son...that is just too
cruel.

I am doing a spreadsheet of all the costs involved and think I am going to
need professional guidance for some things, but we can fill out the papers
ourselves...any general idea how much that would be an hour?
I need this for our accountant......I can be responded to privately at this
addy:

miz_woo @ hot mail DOT com

Plz Help!

Any good advice appreciated!

Thx

You need to have a passport and submit copy of it with the application when
applying for PR status, same with your son. It doesn't matter that he will
land after you - his complete set of required documents and photos must be
included with the application. As for the custody - I can't really comment
without seeing exactly what court order you have really says.

Check your email also please.

OK...so I just send a copy of them...not the actual passports?
What about the clearances..The lady I talked to on the phone told me I could
send them along later and it would be fine. But, I don't trust her...I trust
you Andrew. I have heard too many horror stories of confused agents leading
people down the wrong path...

Thx...going to check my mail now.

You will be asked later to provide updated police certificates (FBI and
RCMP), but you may include FBI one if you already have it.
