I am sorry, but I am not very familar with Candian immigration laws.
I have a friend who is Armenian who is a highly skilled nurse. Her
biggest problem is that her English very weak. Her first step is to
learn English.
I have seen that there are schools for intensive study of English in
Canada. What are her chances of getting a 6 month visa to study
English? She has enough money to pay for school.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If the course of study is less than 6 months she doesn't require a student
permit. If she wants to study for more than 6 months, she will require
proof of acceptance at the school and sufficient funds to support herself
for that period of time. No one knows what her chances are until she
applies.
