Default Notaraised / notarized

Hey Guys,

I am at the point where I need to go and get stuff notarised...........can anyone tell me if there is a cheaper alternative than a lawyer to help with this. We have an apointment tomorrow, where we need a load of stuff notarised, but the dude wants to charge us $15 per thing, so at this point I am estimating just under $300 in total!

Any advice?????

I didn't get anything notarised and it wasn't a problem. Not sure whether it would be different if you're applying in Canada rather than the UK.

You can get things notarized at the registry office, not sure what they charge though.

Ask some of your Canadian friends/colleagues.....we found that we knew a couple of people that had done the course. (Apparently it is around $80)

What do you actually think you need to get notarized? The only things we had done were our declaration of common law onion and an authorisation letter for the Ecuadorian Police Archives service to release a police file to a representative. If it's for your work history, don't bother.
