Following the request of Buffalo office, I have provided the background info they required a few weeks ago.

After that, as stated in the first assessment directions, they should have transferred my file to NYC consulate. The NY office should contact me for the interview...

- how long does it take to get the notification of transferred file?
- From who? Buffalo or NY?
- how long will be the queue?

please, help!

For the cases I know, it takes 1 to 4 months to get file transfered

I think BUFF will send you a letter and says they will no longer have your file and you need contact NY thereafter.

In case i get the HRSC validation after my case is transferred to NY, should I fax them the documentation or go directly to the interview?

Hi there cryout

Something is strange with the above reply his link provided indicates
that it is a link to New York Consulate website..but it seem sto me
that it actually contains interview information for Detroit..to the
best of my knowledge New York does not post this type of information
on their website..

All the files listed here are identical to the list of files scheduled
for Interviews in detroit..

Correct me if I am wrong ..

yes, it is true, although it has a title with NY, but it seems the same as Detroilt, I noticed that, I have no idea about this

if you have something which can help your case, fax it to them, they may waive your interview because of that

yy - 11: I am actually waiting for the validation of arranged employement (this for sure will help me...) but the process is still long (2 months?)...

you told me to fax them any changes...can I still do it? if yes should I fax to buffalo or wait that my case is transferred to NYC and fax them? In a previous posting A. Miller told me that the HRSC validation directly updates my file...

I have no idea if it will be automatically updated,
but I think you can fax it anyway. because it will help your case.
I think you need wait for the confirmation of transfer letter and then fax it to New York.
(this is my personal opinion)
