Not asked for updated FBI fingerprints
HI all,
Here's my timeline and a question:
Applied: November 2002
AOR: Jan 2003
Sent FBI fingerprints:Mar 2003
Sent IELTS: October 2003
Interview Waiverec 2003
Medicals and documents submitted:January 2004.
My question is that along with my interview waiver, they only asked me
for updated current employer experience letter and current bank
statements.
Updated FBI or PCC from my home country were not requested.
I am wondering if I am missing something here. I have looked at my
interview papers again, the checked boxes were only against the
experience letter and bank statement .
Thanks for your help,
Newuser.

Re: Not asked for updated FBI fingerprints
According to my expirience they evntually do ask for updated police
certificates.
The rule is that your police certificate must be less then one year
old on the day the make the decision.
We were very close to this day, even submited updated photos, forms
and ROLF fees. But, we had a short delay ( thanks to our lawyer )
which caused all our police certificates to reach the age of 1 year.
Instead of getting a letter asking for passports we got a letter that
asked to submit updated new police certificates.

Re: Not asked for updated FBI fingerprints
That is exactly what they asked me for.
Didn't ask for any updates on PCC or FBI.
Just give them what they want ASAP and hopefully you will get final approval
soon.

Re: Not asked for updated FBI fingerprints
I see so if I haven't recieved the passport request by now, which I
haven't (I am sure this is because of background check from my home
country), I'd probably be asked for Updated FBI. Thanks this helps a
lot, makes sense too. Atleast I don't have to wonder
