New migrant family arriving in Calgary

We shall be arriving with just our luggage and hopes, any tips ? ie
accomodation, jobs (software developer), good/bad areas, property
market.
Anyone with personal experience ? Help/advice much appreciated.

Software developers are a dime a dozen here -- in other words
plentiful. I'd be cautious about getting your hopes up about finding
a job in the computer field.
