First of all - you are not a "new immigrant to Canada" nor a Canadian PR at all
as you haven't landed yet, you only have a immigration visa, nothing more. So,
you cannot even think about sponsoring anyone if you are not a PR yet and you
are not living in Canada.

Secondly - you cannot even land now as your immigration visa just got
invalidated by you changing marital status before landing. You have completely
screwed things up and you are toasted, sorry.

There may be some way out short full re-application, but the reality is that
your visa is not valid anymore as it was granted to you as a single. You have
made the worse error anyone can make after receiving a visa - please read all
documents you received with your visa and you'll see that changing marital
status before landing is a big "NO". And it is more than logical - your spouse
didn't undergo any admissibility checks during your application process, thus
her potential inadmissibility didn't affect your admissibility. And this is why
your visa is now invalid. You need serious help and all will take time and
expertise to fix things up - just don't make any more mistakes on your own and
hire expert to help you out...

You cannot land with your present visa since you are now married and your
wife was never examined for immigration. You must advise the visa office of
your situation and ask for their instructions. Don't even think about
landing with your present visa, it will only endanger your residence
seriously.

Mr Ahmed.
Andrew's is not correct in most of the issue. don't worry about your
vissa. Its just a procedure. I was in the same possition like you.
Exactly same. And me and my wife got the new visa processed withing 3
months after all the varification. Just be honest and let the visa
officer know and they will send you the form and every information.

Please don't worry.
Its not a crime to get married.
And they know that.

Once again dont' worry. Its not a big deal at all. just time and
processing. if you need to know any thing exactly about my issue post
here I will be glad to let you guys know.

Thank you for your responses, specially the assuring response.

I have let them know my change in status. And I asked them to send me the
forms and the paper work i need to submit in order to add my spouse. I am
waiting to hear from them, but i guess it will take a while for them to
respond. In the meantime I would like to know If I should go to a lawyer or
do it myself. Bcoz when I got my Immigration I did everything for myself.
If, yes How much do I have shell out for a lawyer for a case like this. If I
have to do it myself, what forms do I have to fill out.

Thanks

you should have landed first and then got married. Unfortunately now you
have a visa for a single person but you are a married person so it is
invalid. You need to return it and explain you got married and include all
the extra information for your wife forms fees etc.
youc ant sponsor her because youa rent a PR of Canada.
