I Filed for permanent immigration under the independant category from New Delhi. My time lines are as under. I would request all who have filed from New Delhi in the year 2000 or 2001 to share their time lines & experiences. would be of great help to all, Please co-operate..

1) 26-04-2000 Application for Permanent residence
2) 15-07-2000 File created by Canadian High Comm.in N Delhi
3) 15-03-2001 Letter that personal Interview will be required from Canadian High Comm.
4) 20-08-2003 Letter to submit new IRPA forms & IELTS scores from Canadian High Comm.
5) Dec-2003 Submitted all the relevant papers
6) 19-07-2004 Received interview Waiver letter from Canadian High Comm.
7) Waiting for my Medical papers till date.

Please respond if the time line mentioned above is normal or are there any delays requiring my attention or concern.
Please respond as I am really worried about my case.

Yar i'm also waiting but i've applied from Islamabad. One thing that is also good sign for me is that firstly u had received that interview is required and after submission of IELTS and other stuff you was received waiver letter. Its really gr8. Best of luck. I'm also posting my time line plz advice me.

I had applied for Canadian immigration since March 2001 from Islamabad as Computer Programmer. Following are the details:

29/03/2001 Application Submitted
13/04/2001 AOR Received
20/09/2003 Letter received of Updated Forms and IELTS
09/03/2004 Documents Submitted
15/03/2004 Letter received for updated proof of funds and original education documents
24/03/2004 Documents submitted
17/05/2004 All original education documents have been received with their covering letter stating that "selection interview is necessary before your application can be processed further. You shall be inform in writing of the date and time of your interview".

Since that I’m waiting for my interview call................

Got request for Language proficiency proof and IRPA form in Oct 2004. Submitted IELTS and IRPA Nov, 2004.

Now just waiting
