I would use Fedex or some other courier. Canada Post is notorious for loosing things and I don't think I would chance loosing my passport for the sake of a few extra dollars!

Hi dplumber.....I would do exactly as it said on our passport request email .

It asks us to send our passports in an envelope with our file number displayed on front with a return (prepaid)canada post expresspost envelope which has to measure 24x32cm and to make sure you have tracking numbers for outward envelope and the prepaid return envelope.

If you use a courier to send you passports, they will not use the courier to return, it will be sent back U.S. (regular )mail even if its paid for in advance.

Good luck..I received and posted my passports off to Fort Erie yesterday.
