Hey guys,
Hoping someone can give me some advice regarding the medical for the PR Spousal application. Am I right in thinking I have to go have a medical before I send my application off? I'm sending the forms in January and I'm wondering if I should book the medical exam now. What's the process?

Hi
"When all else fails, read the instructions"
1. You need to forward a complete application to your sponsor, this includes proof of the medical, PCCs and proof of the relationship. The sponsor then send the complete package, sponsorship and application to Mississauga. IF Mississauga approves the sponsorship, then the application would be sent to the processing office.

Sorry I forgot to mention I'm in Canada on a work permit right now, doing the inland application. Dunno if this makes a difference.
Cheers,

Hi
1. If you are intent on doing a in-Canada application, everything then goes to Vegreville.
2. IMHO you should really do an out of Canada spousal application, usually faster, (especially if you are in the Toronto area) preserves the right of appeal and if you were admitted to Canada for 1 year, you can select Buffalo as the processing office. That is if you don't require a Visitor visa for the US.
