Mr. Miller very important question
I have been sponsored by my husband who is a Canadian citizen. Is it
necessary for him to have his own apartment or house? He is currently
living with his parents and waiting for me to get there before we buy
a house. The Canadian embassy requires a proof of his residency in
Canada such as lease of contract, proof of residential ownership;
proof that he is on the canadian voter's list. My husband don't have
the first two requirements. The third one (canadian voter's list),
where can he get one? What do you think are other related documents
that he can submit? Does it have to be original or just photocopy?

How about a Notice of Assessment from CCRA. Bank statemnts for the
past 12 months, Credit card bills, Pay stubs from employment in
Canada. That would be my recommendation.

Re: Mr. Miller very important question
Ditto here. Your husband should demonstrate that he can support you both,
thus some proof of income is needed. As of proof he lives in Canada - a
combination of tax assessment, valid health card, bank and credit card
statements, employment/salary record, etc. should be sufficient to prove the
fact.
